The term "variable printing" refers to the addition of customer specific information that differs label to label or for that matter, part to part. RR Donnelley has several technologies that can be utilized to complete the process. Which technology we use depends on the application and configuration of the label or label/form combinations.Many applications for variable printing on labels are consecutive numbers and bar codes. Sequential numbers help keep track of goods received and track work in process. Allowing RR Donnelley to image the numbers or bar codes eliminates an operation at your facility and helps maintain productivity. Typical Applications:
