RR Donnelley has state-of-the-art testing facilities second to none in the label marketplace. The Label Testing Facilities, located in Angola, Milwaukee and Oakdale (MN) have a Lab testing crew with hundreds of years of combined experience. The Testing and Applications Department works as a team. Every member is cross-trained so there is a continuity of workflow when demand is high or low, for testing. Average turn-around time for testing is less than 24 hours. Any influx of capacity can easily be managed without a void of service levels or drop in quality data.
The equipment that we utilize allows for a gamut of different tests that can be performed. We have equipment that will test cold or hot weather; direct, dull or hazy sunlight; dry or humid; rain; deep freezing (-30F); long term effects of any of the above; or any test that deals with customer problems or possible application challenges.
